Deer Grove

For this important forest preserve in Chicago, IL, Taylor Creek Restoration Nurseries custom-collected an estimated 6,000 pounds of local eco-type seed, including more than 200 pounds of hand-collected seed, to support the restoration. Our seed collection efforts from 2010 – 2013 provided more than 100 native species for the restoration. Additionally, we grew 120,000 plant plugs from the local genotype seed.
